- Collect Piece of Map during special activities
- Exchange those Pieces for free Pot of Jack Boxes in the Forge
- Continue assembling the new Pirates Hamster Set
Let’s see what awaits beyond the horizon.
Meet Captain Jack Pot
Every legendary pirate needs a captain.
This time, that role belongs to Captain Jack Pot, the newest 3rd Generation Hamster designed for Expedition-focused players who enjoy adapting their strategy to different situations.
Unlike most Hamsters, Captain Jack Pot doesn’t come with a fixed set of passive abilities.
Instead, he uses the Abilities Builder, allowing you to customize his passive abilities to fit your Expedition strategy.
Check his base parameters:
| Parameter | Basic | Abilities Builder | Ultimate Ability | Charging |

Ultimate Ability: Smart Study
Captain Jack Pot comes equipped with Smart Study, an Ultimate Ability that keeps him progressing with every successful Expedition.
⚡ No rest required: After activating Smart Study, Captain Jack Pot can immediately embark on another Expedition.
Every successful Expedition also grants 1 additional Skill Point, allowing him to grow beyond the standard 49 points earned through leveling and reach even greater stat potential.
Build Your Own Expedition Strategy
Captain Jack Pot uses the Abilities Builder, allowing players to choose one Passive Ability from each slot to best match their preferred Expedition playstyle.
Also, as Captain Jack Pot levels up, the selected abilities become progressively stronger, unlocking even greater efficiency for your Expeditions.

Two New Passive Abilities
Among the abilities available through the Abilities Builder, two are making their debut: Rest Relay and Charge Relay.
Let’s take a closer look at how they work.
Rest Relay
Rest Relay helps reduce downtime between Expeditions.
While Captain Jack Pot is away on an Expedition, every full hour spent exploring restores part of the resting time of your other Hamsters.
At Level 1, Rest Relay restores 5 minutes of resting time for every completed Expedition hour. At Level 50, this increases to 10 minutes per hour.
A few important rules apply:
- only full Expedition hours count;
- Expedition Speed Ups do not increase the bonus;
- if a Hamster finishes resting before receiving the full bonus, the remaining recovery is simply discarded.
For active Expedition players, this means less waiting and more opportunities to send Hamsters back into action.
Charge Relay
The second new passive ability focuses on Ultimate Abilities. Instead of reducing resting time, Charge Relay restores Ultimate charging for the Hamsters waiting in your inventory while Captain Jack Pot completes Expeditions.
Like Rest Relay, only complete Expedition hours are counted.
Because Ultimate recharge is calculated using whole numbers, Expeditions shorter than six hours won’t provide any charging bonus. Speed Up Items also don’t increase the total benefit, as the calculation always considers the Expedition’s original duration.
Players who regularly rotate multiple Hamsters will benefit the most, since Ultimate Abilities become available more frequently without requiring additional waiting.
How to Recruit Captain Jack Pot
Every pirate has their own path to fortune, and Captain Jack Pot can join your crew in two different ways.
The main way is through the Pot of Jack Box, a special event Lootbox featuring the new Hamster alongside guaranteed reward mechanics and duplicate protection.
Players who don’t want to rely on luck can also purchase Captain Jack Pot directly through the exclusive event sale available during the final days of the event.
Whether you prefer opening cases or securing your reward immediately, the choice is yours.
Collect Piece of Map and Unlock Free Pot of Jack Boxes
No pirate adventure is complete without searching for a treasure map.
Throughout Pirates of the Oopsea, you’ll be able to collect Piece of Map, a special event collectible hidden across multiple activities. Every Piece brings you one step closer to earning additional Pot of Jack Boxes completely free through the Forge.
Unlike traditional event rewards, Piece of Map becomes valuable only when combined with the other pieces you collect during the event. The more activities you complete, the more opportunities you’ll have to claim Pot of Jack Boxes without spending RLT.
Forge Up to Five Free Pot of Jack Boxes
Starting on July 24, the Forge allows you to combine the Piece of Map earned throughout the event, to create up to five Pot of Jack Boxes completely free.
Even if luck isn’t on your side at first, staying active during the event significantly increases your chances of adding the new pirate captain to your crew.
Event Schedule
