What Is the Hamster Gym in RollerCoin?
The Hamster Gym is a dedicated area where your Hamsters can train to earn permanent Experience Points (XP), level up, and improve their stats.
Stronger Hamsters are better prepared for Expeditions, where improved stats can help them secure better rewards.
That’s what makes the Gym an important part of your long-term progression strategy!
Here’s what you can do:
- Earn permanent XP to level up and improve your Hamsters’ stats.
- Perform better in Expeditions, and work toward more valuable rewards.
- Progress beyond Level 50, reaching up to Level 100.
- Charge Ultimate Abilities using Treadmill Premium.
- Boost XP rewards by adding a Trainer.
- Train multiple Hamsters by unlocking additional Gym Slots.
Whether you’re developing a new Hamster or improving an experienced one, every workout is another step toward a stronger Expedition team!
How to Start Training Your Hamsters
You can access the Gym through the GYM button in the Expeditions section of the main menu or directly inside Expeditions.
Once inside, follow these steps to get your Hamsters moving.
Step 1: Unlock a Gym Slot and Install Equipment
Each Gym Room contains four Gym Slots. The first is unlocked for free, while the remaining three can be unlocked using RLT.
Every slot holds one training machine, and each machine accommodates one Hamster at a time.
Select an empty slot and install a machine from your Equipment Inventory.

Step 2: Choose Your Hamster
Select an available Hamster from your collection.
Before confirming, you’ll see the training duration, expected XP reward, Durability consumption, and any additional benefits provided by the Equipment.
Choose carefully! Your Hamster will be unavailable for Expeditions and other activities throughout the session.
Step 3: Start Training
Click Start Training and choose whether to include a Trainer for additional XP.
If you have an unlocked Trainer, you can add its bonus by paying the participation cost. Otherwise, training without a Trainer remains available at no additional participation cost.
Once confirmed, your Hamster begins exercising and the timer starts.
Important: Training cannot be canceled once it begins.
Step 4: Claim Your Rewards
When the timer reaches zero, return to the Gym and click Claim to collect your rewards.
Your Hamster remains busy until you claim the completed session. Afterward, it receives its XP, leaves the machine, and enters the standard Rest state, just as it would after a successful Expedition.
Don’t forget to claim your rewards! Your Hamster cannot start another activity while its completed session is awaiting collection.
Gym Equipment: Choose the Right Workout
Not all workouts are created equal!
The Hamster Gym features four training machines, each helping your Hamsters earn XP and progress toward stronger stats for future Expeditions.
Choose between Pilates, Soccer, Treadmill, and Treadmill Premium to find the workout that best fits your progression goals. Each machine offers different training conditions, while Treadmill Premium also provides Ultimate Charge for eligible Hamsters.
Regular Gym Equipment
Three machines are available for regular training:
- Pilates: A basic training option to help your Hamsters earn XP and progress through their levels.
- Soccer: Another workout option that allows your Hamsters to develop through training sessions.
- Treadmill: A training machine that provides XP to support your Hamsters’ progression.
Each machine has its own training duration, XP reward, and Durability requirements. Check the Equipment details in the Gym to choose the workout that best fits your plans.
Premium Equipment
Looking for something extra? Treadmill Premium takes training one step further!
Alongside XP rewards, this machine also charges your Hamster’s Ultimate Ability, making it a valuable option for Hamsters with Ultimates.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Hamsters with an Ultimate Ability can receive Ultimate Charge after completing training and claiming their rewards.
- Hamsters without an Ultimate Ability still earn XP normally.
- Ultimate Charge cannot exceed its maximum capacity.
- Trainer XP Bonuses do not increase Ultimate Charge.
Treadmill Premium uses a regular Gym Slot, so there’s no need to unlock a special Premium Slot.
Gym Equipment Training Rewards
Each machine has a maximum of 12 Durability segments.

Shorter sessions may suit Rollers who check the game frequently, while longer workouts make it easier to schedule training around other activities.
Trainers: Boost Your Training XP
Even the strongest Hamsters can benefit from some expert guidance!
The Trainer is an optional feature that increases the XP your Hamsters earn during training sessions.
You can unlock and upgrade your Trainer through the dedicated Trainer Area. With 10 levels and XP Bonuses reaching up to +150%, upgrading your Trainer can make a big difference in your Hamsters’ progression.
How Trainer Bonuses Work
Want to get more XP from your workouts? Adding a Trainer gives your Hamsters an extra boost during training!
Each Trainer provides an XP Bonus based on their current level. As you upgrade your Trainer, you’ll unlock higher bonuses and earn more XP from eligible training sessions.
Trainer participation comes with an additional cost based on the training duration and the Trainer’s hourly rate. Before starting, you’ll see the total participation cost and expected XP reward, so you can decide whether to include the Trainer.
And here’s the best part: One Trainer can support multiple Hamsters training simultaneously within the same Gym Room! Each session requires a separate participation payment.
Trainer Levels and XP Bonuses
Upgrading your Trainer increases the XP Bonus available for future workouts.

You can upgrade your Trainer even while other sessions are active. However, upgrades only affect newly started workouts, since existing sessions keep the XP Bonus assigned when training began.
Equipment Durability: Keep Your Gym Running
Your Hamsters may have endless enthusiasm, but their training machines need maintenance!
Every piece of Equipment has a limited amount of Durability, represented by a segmented bar.
Each workout consumes a specific amount of Durability when training starts. If a machine doesn’t have enough remaining, you’ll need to repair it before using it again.
How to Repair Your Gym Equipment
To restore Durability, you’ll need Repair Items.
Each Repair Item restores one Durability segment, and you can use multiple items in a single repair without exceeding the machine’s maximum capacity.
You can repair completely broken or partially damaged Equipment, but not machines that are actively training or awaiting reward collection.
Repair Items may be available through different game activities, events, and rewards, depending on their availability.
Pro tip: Check your Equipment’s Durability before starting a workout to avoid interruptions in your training plans.
Level Up Beyond Level 50
Already have a Hamster at the regular maximum level? The Gym gives it another goal, and a chance to become even stronger!
Under the standard progression system, Hamsters can reach Level 50 through Expeditions. With Gym training, they can continue progressing up to Level 100, improving their stats as they level up.
Why does this matter for Expeditions?
Your Hamsters’ stats play an important role in their Expedition performance. By training and leveling up in the Gym, you can improve those stats, helping your Hamsters perform better and earn more valuable Expedition rewards.
The stronger your Hamsters become, the better prepared they’ll be to take on new challenges and pursue better rewards.
If a training session grants more XP than needed to reach the next level, the remaining experience carries over toward further progression.
Where to Get More Gym Equipment
Building the right Gym setup is another part of your RollerCoin strategy.
Additional Gym Equipment is planned to be obtainable through familiar game activities, including:
- Puzzle Events
- Progression rewards
- The Forge
Machines that aren’t installed in Gym Slots remain in your Equipment Inventory, allowing you to store them for future use.
You can also replace or move available Equipment between slots. Machines currently in use or awaiting reward collection must complete their sessions first.
Future updates may introduce new Equipment, additional Gym Rooms, and more training possibilities.
